BUGATTI BABY II



The Baby II is a 75%, fully Electric reincarnation of the iconic Bugatti Type 35, developed using a full 3D scan of an original 1924 French Grand Prix car.

This uniquely finished Bugatti Baby II is a one-off hand painted commission by Hedley Studios.
 
The inspiration for the Baby II was a Goodwood painting I created in 2023 of an E-Type during the Stirling Moss Trophy at 2022 Revival. The stripes represent speed, toned to the colours of Goodwood stands and trees.

Inspired by Art Deco preriod and art car pioneer Sonia Delaunay as well as my admirationfor abstract artist Bridget Riley, especially ‘Nataraja’ and Evoë which left me speechless the first time I saw them at the Tate Museum.
